Hi my name is Jess, I’m a 30 something parenting and lifestyle blogger.  Welcome to my blog!

I’m a mummy to two gorgeous children. My son is now 5 just about to start class 1! And my daughter is 17 months.

So why the name Mrs Puddleducky, I hear you ask?! Well, when I was pregnant with my first child, my hubby gave me the nickname Puddleduck because I waddled like a duck! And it’s just kinda stuck!

I returned to work 6 months ago after my maternity leave with my daughter. I work as a senior manager within the health service and have a career spanning nearly 20 years! I’m currently working a 4 day week on a flexible working arrangement and very much still settling back in.

I’m absolutely loving life as a second time mum, rediscovering the joys of family and motherhood by the bucket load.  When I’m not in the office, im looking after my family, baking, running, arranging our next family holiday and of course, blogging!

Its my mission in life to find the perfect balance between work, family and life that’s right for my family and I.

This is my diary, my story, my experiences of life as a working mum and the challenges I face trying to balance it all. There’s some tips, recipes, reviews and ideas along the way too.
